HUNT FOR VETS  

ELIGIBILITY

 

Honorably discharged, or active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Reserves, or National Guard, or an immediate family member of a military veteran killed in combat, are eligible to apply.  If no longer active duty, must have received an honorable discharge.

SFMF serves military families, and therefore all requests must include a military veteran and at least one family member, such as, for example, spouse, parents, siblings, or children. Applications that only include the military veteran, or groups of veterans, are denied. Not all applicants are selected, due to scheduling and funding.

Veterans with disabilities, no matter how severe, are eligible. Do not let your injuries prevent you from applying. Any U.S. Armed Forces veteran is eligible to apply.

To apply for a Sportsmen’s Foundation Outdoor Adventure:

1. READ the entire set of instructions below, first.

2. Click the Document button below. This will take you to the application.

3. Right-click on the application and click “Save as…” to save it to your computer.  Remember where you save it.

4. Open (double click) the saved application file, fill it out completely, and then save it.

5. Create an email with “SFMF Military Family Adventure” in the subject line. (This step is important!)

6. Attach your application file.
